THE MYSTERY OF JESUS AND JUDAS
by William Wallace Webb
An outline from "Liber XIII", Ramona 1978
We hope to show, in the light of forgotten Qabalistic cipher, the true
relationship between Jesus and Judas.
Jesus is quoted in John 13.21: "Verily, verify, I say unto you, that
one of you shall betray me." Actually the word given as "betray" has
been mistranslated. "Deliver" would be more accurate. "Deliver me"
instead of "betray me" brings the relationship of Jesus and Judas into
a different perspective.
Judas was the disciple picked by Jesus to deliver Him to Satan (Time)
Jesus says in John 13:18-19: "I speak not of you all: I know whom I
have chosen; but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth
bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. Now I tell you before
it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he."
As Jesus indicated, he selected Judas to do a task. The other disciples
misinterpreted the assignment.
However; Jesus was aware He was choosing Judas to
fuxxxx the scriptures concerning Ben-Adam. In Genesis 25:26, we
read that the human-to-be seed, Jacob Ben Adam, was in the womb holding
Esau-Edom's heel, which was lifted against him. Eventually Esau, son of
the Earth, was compelled to confess that Jacob, son of YHVH, was indeed
the carrier of the seed; Jacob gave him bread as a token of communion.
Esau lived, but there was no truce.
The fulfillment of both the myth and of the man must necessarily be an
integration of two aspects of vital energy into one single individual.
This integration is symbolized by Cain and Abel; later, by Jacob and
Esau; then, by Jesus and Judas. Jesus confirms this by saying: Now I
tell you, before it happens, so that you may believe that I am he.
The word "he" obviously refers to Judas if we read the text as it now
stands. In the previous sentence, Jesus had said: He that eateth with
me hath lifted up his heel against me.
Notwithstanding the clarity of these statements, Jesus further
emphasizes the point in John 13:20: "Verily, verify, I say unto you, He
that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me
receiveth him that sent me.
Thus, Jesus expresses his intention to send Judas; Judas will be his
In the following verse we read: "When Jesus had thus said, He was
troubled in spirit."
In uttering these words, Jesus must have realized at that moment that
He, son of YHVH, was in fact incarnate. Also, he had become
As Judas is the only one with whom Jesus communes, the direct effect of
this communication is that Jesus introduces Satan (Time) into Judas. It
is only after Jesus introduces Satan (Time) into Judas that the Son of
man can be glorified.
It is written in John 13:31-32: "Therefore, when he (Judas) was gone
out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified
in him. If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in
himself, and shall straightway glorify him."
In Qabalistic terms, this statement is one of simple fact: there is one
energy; only one life; only one movement. All is One, and One is in
According to Qabalistic cipher, the name Jesus in Hebrew is spelled
YHSHVH. In numeration the name adds to the sum of 326.
Yod=10; He=5; Shin=300; Vau=6; He=5
The name Judas is spelled YHVDH; this totals to 30.
Yod=10; He=5; Vau=6; Daleth=4; He=5
In comparing the two names,
Y H Sh V H
Y H V D H5
it can be seen readily that the Hebrew letter Shin in Jesus' name, and
the letter Daleth in Judah's name are placed in inverse order in their
relationship to the letter Vau.
Shin, which stands for the number 300, cannot be projected
existentially. Daleth, the number 4, is symbolic of the necessary
resistance to life. Without resistance, life cannot evolve its
The sum of the two names is 356. Jesus' name 326 lacks the
organic function which 30, from Judas' name, supplies.
With the addition of 30, Jesus' name is made complete by the inverse
sacrifice of Judas.
Qabalistically, the number 356 is the cosmic life-breath which is alive
and fertile-here and now-on this physical plane.
